Anti-Racist Organizations Plan Counterdemonstration Against neo-Nazis

| the entire program

neo-nazisThis Saturday, anti-racist organizations will be joining together for a counter-demonstration against a planned neo-Nazi rally in downtown Los Angeles. Members of the National Socialist Movement will be gathering on the lawn of City Hall this weekend, under the cynical slogan “Reclaim the Southwest, in particular to target undocumented immigrant and sanctuary cities. The neo-Nazi organization has held controversial and contentious rallies over the past few months in Riverside and in Arizona. Just this week the state of Arizona passed what is being called the nation’s most anti-immigrant measures, giving police the authority to conduct warrantless searches of vehicles based only on a suspicion that the occupants may be undocumented. When the National Socialist Movement showed up in the Inland Empire last year, more than six hundred counter demonstrators drowned out their voices. The noon-time rally in Downtown Los Angeles is expected to attract even more counter-protesters.

GUEST: Loretta Ross, founder of SisterSong Women of Color Reproductive Rights Coalition, monitored white supremacist/hate group activity for the Center for Democratic Renewal in Georgia.

    The AP reported :

“National Socialist Movement regional director Jeffrey Russell Hall announced that the group would begin backing political candidates who agreed with their anti-immigrant message.”

HAHAHAha the first thing that popped into my head was “GOOOOOOD”. I don’t think that money from this kind of group would look particularly good for the GOP candidates when voters go to analyze a candidates list of influential donors…

Then again the GOP can use all the help they can get.

I really like the new tea party flag… It’s pretty.

After the demonstration, the group is not called neo-Nazi, it is called White Supremisist; probably trying to distance it from President Obama and his Socialist un-constitutional governing style.
