Voting MachinesGUEST: Jim March, Board of Directors of Black Box Voting

Last Friday California Secretary of State Debra Bowen decertified three voting systems widely used in this state. She made the decision in response to studies showing that the machines could be hacked. It affects systems made by three of the four largest voting machine companies including Diebold Election Systems and Sequoia Voting Systems. Last week we spoke with Jim March with the group Black Box Voting on the study done by computer scientists which showed how the machines can be hacked into to change results. Jim joins us back on Uprising to update us on the significance of Debra Bowen’s decision.
