I wish these points (e.g., Libya’s old monarchy trying to return to power and that country’s relatively high standard of living) were being mention more in left media. I’ve not even heard Mumia’s points conveyed on Democracy Now. (I don’t catch every episode, but I’ve seen debates, discussions, and reports about U.S.-Libya, and these points never come up.) The only other place I’ve heard mention of these things is on KPFK’s Freedom Now (late Saturday afternoons).
