Is Glenn Beck Really Leaving Fox News?
With his falling ratings and skittish advertisers, Fox News darling Glenn Beck’s tenure finally seems to be up. On April 6th, Beck’s news website The Blaze, announced that he would be parting ways with Fox by the end of the year. However, it is unlikely to be the end of Beck’s relationship with Fox: Beck’s production company, Mercury Radio Arts, has apparently struck a deal with Fox to “develop and produce a variety of television projects for air on the Fox News Channel as well as content for other platforms including Fox News’ digital properties.” There are also reports that a senior Fox executive, Joel Cheatwood, is leaving Fox to join Mercury Radio Arts. Additionally Beck is apparently considering taking over an entire cable channel or at least part of one on his own. It is unclear how Mr. Beck would attract advertisers for any new endeavors after a boycott that was started when he called President Obama a racist with a “deep-seated hatred of white people.” The relationship between Beck and Fox has often been strained as other news personalities and executives have had to defend Beck’s wild and often baseless allegations about President Obama, the Democratic Party, and the American left in general.

Yeah, and his ratings are still 2 million a day compared to about 600,000 for CNN. Hello?
Any man who dare tell Americans they need God and moral values need restored of course won’t be liked by the far left…We don’t need Glenn to tell us of the upcoming horrific events….we just need to read revelation…The 12 Imman…he’s coming…..but be assured he will be defeated in the end.
Glenn Back was like the “Chicken Littles” always saying that the “Sky is Falling”, like the same ones that were the “Chicken Hawks” (“W” Wars), big talk no courage. The United States, favors creativity wherever it can be found. We’re apostles of prosperity and defenders of the free exchange of ideas and when more people in more countries are free to rise, to invent, to communicate, to dissent, it’s not the doom of United States leadership, its the triumph of the American way. Generations have worked hard and sacrificed much for the country to reach this point (individuals and our unions!), and with further hard work and sacrifice (along with our relentless self-doubt) the United States will rise again, we do not tire and we are coming back, no matter what the “Chicken Littles” keep saying about our nation. Never Bet Against the United States!
What a loss for those who hunger for the truth and not all the rhetoric by both the left and the right.
Glad he will still be in the media loop and I look forward to the next season of his life sharing the hard truth that seems to be lacking and foreign in today’s journalistic reporting. There is so much bias spin I truly get sick to my stomach listening. I can only guess that the real truth has the same effect on them.
Keeping those in power accountable is a thankless job and I am so grateful for everything he has taught me!
Unfortunately, when all he has said comes to pass it will be too late, and I know it won’t give him one bit of pleasure saying
“I told you so.”
