“The conspiracy community regularly seizes on one slip of the tongue, misunderstanding, or slight discrepancy to defeat 20 pieces of solid evidence; accepts one witness of theirs, even if he or she is a provable nut, as being far more credible than ten normal witnesses on the other side; treats rumors, even questions, as the equivalent of proof; leaps from the most minuscule of discoveries to the grandest of conclusions; and insists… that the failure to explain everything perfectly negates all that is explained.” – Vincent Bugliosi

I consider your show to be one of THE greatest ever, and I wish it was carried on KPFA every day.
Regarding ‘conspiracy theories’, well there are ‘conspiracy theories’ and then there are ‘conspiracy theories’.
As for myself, the history of the secret behavior of governments, industrialists, financiers and the intelligence services leaves me forever on the side of the open-minded.
Here are two links to one of the conspiracies that I have never forgotten: the Bologna train station bombing and the people connected to it.

I know these are only online sources, but they will do for a start. I very much appreciate Mr. Bugliosi’s work to bring Bush to justice for his many crimes ( and conspiracies ), but Mr. Bugliosi is not my go to guy on the issue of the hidden history of fascist movements or conspiracies in general. I feel a kind of despair sometimes that some kind of agreement on our history must be reached if we are ever to understand the world we must live in, but never will be, and I can’t help but think that although there is a huge amount of garbage and disinformation out there to get trapped in, at the same time we owe it to our kids not to let others dictate what and who’s account of history we will be allowed to hear. A lot of young people will never see the patterns of manipulation that have repeated themselves again and again throughout history, because old ‘conspiracies’ are forgotten and buried, as the conspirators hoped they would be.
Of course, back when I learned about these things we did not have the internet, only radio and print. Now we have the internet and I for one, am extremely grateful for Uprising Radio, it is the kind of program that can truly make a difference, I hope it grows and grows.
    thanks so much !
