There will be a Fair Trade and Conscious Gifts Holiday Bazaar this Saturday December 1st from 11 am to 3 pm at the Immanuel Presbyterian Church in the Geneva Room, 3300 Wilshire Blvd in Los Angeles. Over a dozen vendors will offer fair trade coffee and tea, hand made crafts by Afghan women, jewelry and art by local artists. Vendors include Afghan Women’s Mission, Ten Thousand Villages, Garment Worker Center, Pacifica Radio Archives, Global Voices for Justice, and others. There will be live performances and refreshments.
