An eviction notice was posted at the South Central Farm on 41st and Alameda Street on Wednesday, March 1st. That notice had stated that the farm needed to be vacated on March 6th. The 350 families that farm the land learned that their eviction notice was incorrect and that the official day is Tuesday, March 7th. Activists are calling for Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and members of the city council to stop the eviction.
