Pop and Politics with Jimmy Dore
Jimmy Dore is an award winning writer, performer, and comedian. Each week on his KPFK show, he skewers mainstream and right wing media, using satire and comedy to drive home his points. Dore has starred in several Comedy Central specials, his latest being the one-hour special, Citizen Jimmy. He is the writer and performer of the off-Broadway hit, “The Marijuana-logues,” and has often appeared on late-night television shows such as Jimmy Kimmel Live, and The Late Late Show. He travels the world on the comedy festival circuit, and locally, appears regularly at the Upright Citizen’s Brigade Theater in Los Angeles.
