A county in the state of Washington is considering adopting an ordinance that would prohibit discrimination against transgender people. Supporters of the measure say they want to send a message King County, Washington opposes a proposed referendum to overturn a law protecting sexual minorities. The struggle over the rights of transgender people is slowly making strides. We hear next from Dhillon Khosla, a lawyer who was born into the body of a woman and underwent extensive surgery reclaim his male identity. He’s written a book about it called “Both Sides Now: One Man’s Journey Through Womanhood.â€
