On the heels of the shooting at the Sikh Gurdwara in Oak Creek Wisconsin where Army Veteran Wade Michael Page shot and killed 6 people and then turned the gun on himself, the country is experiencing a wave of vandalism and attacks against Islamic community centers, schools and mosques. With little reporting in the mainstream media, the attacks have been scattered around the country.

On August 15, 2012, Uprising host Sonali Kolhatkar spoke with reporter and activist Uzma Kolsy about the mosque attacks.
