The nuclear genie is out of the bag.
    European nations have the bomb.
One East Asian nation, China, has the bomb.
Pakistan has the bomb, which gives both South Asia and Islam a bomb, and of course India has the bomb in South Asia.
Israel has the bomb, which helps no one but Israel.
The other bomb holders will trend to keep a nuclear umbrella over those nations that are racially and culturally similar.
For instance Russia will protect Czechoslovakia and Bulgaria with it’s nuclear deterrent.
Pakistan, to some extent, will protect Arab Islamic states, to the extent Israel is in range of Pakistan’s rockets, which is not yet.
All in all it looks like a good portion of the world is either in possession of the bomb or is a close cultural allied of someone who does have the bomb.
The only improvement needed would be for Brazil to get the bomb and protect Latin America from Yankee interference.
And in Africa, (if the rumors are true that Israel gave the former white government the bomb) South Africa could shelter that continent from American, French and Russian interference.
But the question is, what is going to end human civilization in then next 10,000 years or less.
After all, if the sun will shine another billion years and Earth remains habitable for mammals, the only reason I can think of that I was born in the first 6,000 years of recorded history, instead of the first million years of recorded history, is that cultures that reach the level of writing ability are doomed to self extinguish in relatively short order.
Other wist the odds are that I’d have popped out into this world at least a million years after the invention of writing, (1,000,000 AW insteand of just 6,000 AW).

    Happy Halloween
