Will There Be Justice for Palestine: Ali Abunimah, Tariq Abu Khdeir, and Max Blumenthal Speak
Israeli tanks hit a United Nations school in Gaza today killing 15 people who were seeking shelter there, and injuring 150 on the 16th day of the internationally condemned Operation Protective Edge. Nearly 700 Palestinians have been killed, a major portion of them children.
The New York Times is reporting this morning that Israel is defending its actions claiming that Hamas is embedding fighters among ordinary civilians. The paper cited as fact, “Hamas fighters have set traps for Israeli soldiers in civilian homes and stored weapons in mosques and schools.”
The United Nations in recent days has decided to launch an investigation even as the attack continues on potential Israeli war crimes.
