Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday said he supports revoking the travel rights of Palestinians living in East Jerusalem. The announcement came amid furor over comments that he made recently over who was really responsible for the Holocaust.
A wave of violent attacks by Israeli soldiers and some settlers in the West Bank have resulted in nearly 60 Palestinians dead. The latest incident was the firebombing of a Palestinian car in East Jerusalem. Next to the car were spray painted the words, “Death to Arabs.” Some Palestinians have also attacked Israeli citizens with knives in numerous stabbing attacks. So far 10 Israelis have been killed.
