Gore Vidal has written countless books, and essays, shedding light into the darkest of corners of our society. Bold and poignant, he is often as the lone voice in a political maelstrom. In addition to being a political critic, Gore Vidal has also dabbled in politics, having run for office twice himself and from time to time, supporting progressive candidates. He is again supporting a progressive candidate, appearing at an event on behalf of Marcy Winograd tonight in Venice, which he will tell us more about now.
