California Voter FoundationGUEST: Kim Alexander, founder and president of the California Voter Foundation, a non-partisan organization

On Tuesday, November 7th, California voters will head to the polls to vote on a number of propositions and office races. California’s November ballot includes 13 propositions, 7 statewide Constitutional Office races, one U.S. Senate race, 53 contests for the House of Representatives, and 100 state legislative contests. The last day to register to vote in the upcoming general elections is October 23rd. The last day to request an absentee ballot is October 31st. Joining us on the line to give us a rundown of the November elections is Kim Alexander. She is the President and Founder of the California Voter Foundation, a non-profit and non-partisan organization that utilizes technology to improve the democratic process. They have just released their California Voter Guide for November 2006.

I came here for guidance on the propositions and candidates. But you already have some flawed information on your website. Election Day is Nov. 2 not the 7th and the last day to register for an absentee ballot is October 26 not the 31st. Please consider correcting the typos for credibility as I am advising friends to use your website for guidance as well. Thank you.
