Code Pink, one of the leading anti-war organizations in the country, has just launched a new campaign called Give Peace a Vote, asking people to sign up and declare that they will not vote for any pro-war candidates in upcoming elections. The Voters pledge consists of the following: “I will not vote for or support any candidate for Congress or President who does not make a speedy end to the war in Iraq, and preventing any future war of aggression, a public position in his or her campaign.” As of this interview, there are almost 15,000 people who have signed up to “give peace a vote,” including singer/songwriter Willie Nelson.
