The march for immigrant rights will begin on the corner of Olympic and Broadway at 10 am on Saturday. It will commence to City Hall.

NSA Hearings on Eaves dropping


This Monday, February 6th, 2006, Pacifica will provide national coverage on the Congressional hearings on President Bush’s decision to order eavesdropping on Americans. US Attorney General Alberto Gonzalez will be testifying.

Sonali Kolhatkar will be co-hosting Pacifica’s national coverage with Mitch Jesseritch and Verna Avery Brown.

The hearings will air from 6 am to 3 pm Pacific Time. Morning Review, Democracy Now, and Uprising, will be pre-empted. …

Only one week after being listed in the podcast directory of iTunes, Uprising’s nationally syndicated weekly program is featured on the front page of iTunes, under “New and Notable” podcasts.
