We were informed this week that KPFA 94.1 FM in Berkeley was considering taking Uprising off the air. Since 2009, the weekly syndicated version of our popular LA-based radio program has been airing on Saturdays at 11 am on KPFA, the flag-ship Pacifica station.

LA Laborfest presents the 100th commemoration of the Triangle Shirtwaist Fire with a series of events through through April 21st. On March 25th, the actual 100th anniversary of the Triangle Factory Fire, there will be a benefit for the Los Angeles Garment Workers Center with an evening of music, theater, spoken word, and film at the Echo Park United Methodist Church, 1226 N Alvarado St in Los Angeles.
