GUEST: Ralph Nader, Green Presidential Candidate in 2000
While most of the corporate media focuses on the two major political parties and their primaries, we turn today to the Green Party’s election recent election event. The Green Party held its presidential debate last Sunday in San Francisco. They called it the “Presidential Debate that Matters.” The event hosted five of the party’s presidential hopefuls. Co-moderated by peace mom Cindy Sheehan, the debate centered around issues of the Iraq war and health care. Ralph Nader, the Green Party presidential candidate in 2000, did not participate in the debate, but addressed the crowd of about 800 supporters.
