George Regas on Challenging US War-Making
The Rev. Dr. George Regas is Rector Emeritus of All Saints Church in Pasadena. Less than a month after the US war on Iraq was launched, he said in a sermon: “[r]eligious communities must stop blessing war…The building of a just world needs brilliance in diplomacy and leadership equal to our wizardry in warfare.” Regas will be honored at an event he is moderating on Sunday September 11th 2011 at All Saints Church in Pasadena. He is the founder of Interfaith Communities United for Justice and Peace (ICUJP).
On Friday September 9th, 2011, Rev. Regas spoke with Uprising host Sonali Kolhatkar about the 9/11 anniversary and the Sunday event.
